I’ve built my galleries and tested where to put the alt tag. They are independent – if you add the alt tag in the envira gallery it will not be there in the media gallery, and vice versa. So the question is are we meant to add them to both places or just one? Or is there a setting somewhere that says ‘take the alt tag from media gallery’ or something like that? Anyone got the answer out there please?

Is this normal? It seems that Envira doesn’t pick up on any changes to my image’s alt text in the WordPress Media Gallery. Are these two alt texts conflicting with each other?
